Meeting with the expert from Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency

On December 6th of 2005, SDIT welcomed guest Yongsoo (Brian) from Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency. As for the purpose of this visit, Brian said in recent years Chinese IT industry had made great accomplishments and it would remain to make strong momentous growth. Therefore, he intended to seek opportunity with the Chinese IT companies on behalf of Korean firms.

As we all can see, Korea has rated itself high in many aspects of industries, not to mention the IT field. During our discussion, Brian gave us an economic overview of their industrial competitiveness in the world. As asked why Korean IT industry can turn out such a great result, Brian pointed out it was greatly due to the government incentives.

For example, the IT 839 strategy consists of 8 services, 9 products and infrastructure supports.

Brain spoke out about the willingness of Korean firms to collaborate with Chinese counterparts in the software-related sector. This will give both sides the chance to make business at its best,. During this visit, Brian talked with our employees and was impressed by our staff's qualification and standardized business process. He said more Korean companies would come all the way to Shanghai to talk with us regarding the business cooperation next February.

At the end of this visit, Brain proposed that if the Chinese companies and Korean companies could make joint efforts and take advantage of each strength, they would surely make a brighter future!
