SDIT Obtains CMM3 Certification

From June 2nd to the 8th of 2005, a final assessment of Capacity Maturity Model Level 3 (CMM3) was taken in SDIT. On the morning of the 8th SEI-Authorized CMM lead assessor, Mr. Cong Bin, claimed that SDIT had earned CMM3 certification. It had taken the company 15 months of preparation to become CMM3 compliant.

Many organizations have deployed the Capability Maturity Model for Software (also known as the CMM and SW-CMM) as a model to identify the best practices beneficial in helping them increase the maturity of their processes.

With the CMM level 3 approved, SDIT will become more competitive in the global offshore software outsourcing market. They will be able to deliver higher quality products and services to clients.
