The Ministry of Information Industry Launches the Supporting Platform for Software and IT Outsourcing Industry

Recently, the Ministry of Information Industry has just kicked off the construction of a supporting platform for software and IT outsourcing industry, which the ministry has invested 40 million Yuan with another investment of 0.44 billion Yuan from local governments and enterprises.

An official from the Ministry of Information Industry said that, the platform would integrate the public technical support resources in Chinese base cities of software and IT outsourcing services from all aspects so as to create a public technical supporting system that covers those gathering areas in China dedicated to software and IT outsourcing business. The platform will provide those software and IT outsourcing businesses with services including general technologies, intellectual property rights, personnel training, national brand promotion and etc. to push forward the leapfrog development of our software and IT outsourcing industry.

The platform is consisted of a national centre and 10 local centers for software and IT outsourcing business. The national centre is built by the CSIP of the Ministry of Information Industry, and the 10 local centers are built in software and IT outsourcing base cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian and so on. Upon their completion, national centre and 10 local centers will be able to get connected and share resources within the network.

In June of this year, China Software and IT Outsourcing Services Union was established in Beijing by a joint endeavor of the Ministry of Information Industry, CSIP and other 31 enterprises.
