Improving the Cartoon Industry to Promote the Development of Regional Economy

From September 20 -22, the "2007 Information Technology and Cartoon Expo" will be held in Shenyang International Exhibition Center. It is the important component of the High-Tech Fair in Northeast Asia; besides, it is the first cartoon show after Shenyang won the title of "National Cartoon Industry Base".

Someone from Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Information Industry says that the "2007Information Technology and Cartoon Expo" is based on the principle of promoting the local cartoon industry, and improving the development of regional industry, in order to give convenience for the dialogues among enterprises, also provide more display space and exchange opportunities, this will not only have a significant role in improving the cartoon industry system in Shenyang and Northeast China, but contribute to the development of cartoon and the related industries in Shenyang, even China.

There are over 80 exhibitors in the "2007Information Technology and Cartoon Expo", including 30 local enterprises, 40 foreign enterprises, such as TOONZ, BBC, Discovery, LEGO, and a group of renowned international enterprises from the United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea, China Taiwan and other countries and regions.

It is known that this will be the first time for India to participate in an exhibition on the theme of software and cartoon. Indian exhibitors will hold an Indian software show, with the components of software products and software services, multimedia, IT education and training, IT media, software outsourcing, etc.

Colorful Exhibition

"2007Information Technology and Cartoon Expo" will mainly include cartoon show, Indian software show, Shenyang software show, and "Cartoon Industry Forum", "China-India Software Cooperation Forum", "Software Outsourcing Forum" and some related seminars will also be held during this exhibition. The cartoon show is combined of Shenyang cartoon industry base show, domestic cartoon show, international show(including South Korea, Japan, etc), derivative products show(videos, books, clothing, toys, stationery, jewelry, etc.); Shenyang software show will mainly display the embedded software(digital medical, intelligent transport, intelligent building, intelligent instruments, RFID, etc.), software outsourcing and application software.

COSPLAY Show

"2007Information Technology and Cartoon Expo" will focus on the concept of "Interactive, Entertainment and Carnival". Based on high-tech multimedia, it will show the modern and fashion of Cartoon. Some domestic and local cartoon communities will perform their prize playlet works of COSPLAY. Meanwhile, the War3 competition, cartoon characters performances and "cartoon star guess game" will be held.
