2007 Taihu Expo panorama debuts, ten events show the spirit of Wuxi’s development

The events list for this expo has been finalized and from the opening ceremony on 10th Oct., ten high-level and professional activities will be presented to show the new definition of Wuxi’s economical and social developments.

In the afternoon of 10th, Oct, Taihu Expo which is also Taihu International Trade Festival Opening Ceremony will be held in Lihu Park. A performance themed "Wuxi is a Beautiful Place" will interpret the theme of scientific development and harmonious development of Wuxi.

During 11th and 12th, Oct, 2007 China Wuxi International Services Outsourcing Cooperation Conference will be held in the Taihu Hotel. This will be a big feast in services outsourcing industry, there will gather the globally renowned multi-national companies, software companies, various services delivers and other participants in Wuxi to the discussion about Wuxi’s future development plan of services outsourcing. The conference will base on the idea of to be high-level, professional and pertinent, in order to host an activity that will have important impact in this industry both at home and in the world.

During 12th and 13th Oct, 2007 China (Wuxi) International Cartoon Copyright Trade and Investment Fair will be held in Hubin Hotel, with the theme of "Propelled by Capital, Infinite Creativity". The fair aims to create trade and industrial investment platforms of national cartoon industrial base in Wuxi throughout the International Cartoon Copyright Trade and Investment Fair and Wuxi Cartoon Arts Festival.

On 14th, Oct, 2007 Wuxi Talents Exchange Fair will take place. Events such as famous companies’ recruitments, well-known colleges’ recommendations, renowned cities shows and other activities will also be held. These activities are in order to strengthen the cooperation among each domestic talent markets, promote the construction of talent market in Wuxi and bridge the interactive platform for college students and employers, and then to create a new predominance of "eminent Jiangsu".

During 16th to 20th of Oct, 2007 International Landscape Architecture Exchange Fair and the Ninth Chinese Chrysanthemum Exhibition will be opened. The fair will invite landscape architecture experts and scholars from America, England, France, Germany, Japan and other countries to give the topic speeches and academic forums, the academic forum will focus on the topics like design and construction of urban landscape, lakeside and flower, as well as protection of historical blocks and landscapes. During the session, the first election of "Chinese Chrysanthemum Master" and Wuxi Landscape Architecture Achievements Expo will take place as well.
In 18th and 19th, Oct, 2007 Wuxi Cooperation Forum of International Commerce Committee and International Business Exchange Fair will be held. Special rooms will be reserved for North America, Northeastern Asia and China, at that time more than 100 honored guests from all around the world will discuss about international cooperation and development.

In 18th to 20th of Oct, International Semiconductor and LCD Display Expo will be held. Wuxi is dedicated to develop itself to be a "Silicon Valley" and "LCD Valley", and through this expo along with other professional activities of the Technical Forum of Chinese Academy of Science, it will establish its leading position in this field.

In 28th to 30th of Oct, 2007 China (Wuxi) International Textile and Apparel Trade Fair will take place. Fashion design competition, brand clothes show, and trend release of popular fabric in autumn and winter will demonstrate the charms of the "Cloth Dock".

In 28th to 31st of Oct, the Third Wuxi International Friend Cities Communication Meeting will take place. Through the communication and cooperation among Wuxi and international friend cities, they will find new combining points with each other. During the session, there will be the activities of contra-aperture negotiation, sign friend cites and friendly contra-aperture communication agreement.

On 19th, Oct, the Taihu Expo Closing Ceremony which is the finals of 2007 Earth Lady International Environmental Protection Competition in China will close this expo successfully themed of green and environmental protection; this also adds a vivid interpretation of "Environmental Protection is Priority" of Wuxi.
