2007 Shanghai Global IT Outsourcing Summit will be held on 17 October

On October 17th, 2007 Shanghai Global IT Outsourcing Summit will be held ceremoniously in Shanghai Jinjiang small hall, there will be more than 120 international software enterprises from the United States, Germany, Holland, Japan, Korea, Spain, Russia and other countries and domestic software enterprises taking part in the summit and consulting with each other about the outsourcing projects. The "Golden Lily Award" which is in order to encourage the long-term cooperation between foreign outsourcers and domestic software enterprises will also be awarded firstly at this summit. At the same time, the Second Shanghai National Software Export Base Software Exhibiting and Transacting Fair will also be held during October 18-19 in Shanghai Pudong Software Park.

It is heard that Shanghai Global Software Outsourcing Summit hosted by Shanghai Foreign Economic and Trade Commission and Shanghai Information Committee has been successfully held for four times. The theme of 2007 Shanghai Global Software Outsourcing Summit is "First-class quality and talents---to connect and share with the world", it will discuss the issues, such as the trend of software outsourcing and China’s opportunities, the competitiveness and capital operation of software enterprises, the building of enterprise information security system, the training of professional talents, the action of government to promote the software outsourcing, and so on. The English website of Shanghai Software Industry Association will be formally opened at this summit and linked with each software enterprise’s portal website; it will transfer timely the information of foreign visitors and enterprises through website background management system. Meanwhile, at the software transaction fair, software enterprises from the United States, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, Japan, South Korea and others will outsource to Shanghai, and negotiate with the local software outsourcing enterprises.
　　
Compared with the previous ones, the utility and operability of 2007 Shanghai Global Software Outsourcing Summit will be further enhanced. Apart from the subject forums which are close to the actual demands of enterprises, such as "Software Outsourcing Enterprise Security System Building", "The impact to Software Outsourcing by Exchange Rate, Costs, etc. and the Solutions", "Outsourcing Services Composite Managing Talents and Training of Professional Talents" and others, this summit will set firstly the "Golden Lily Award" to the outsourcers, and will award to five outsourcers chosen by the local software enterprises in the opening ceremony. In addition, another concerned keystone of this summit is to train the software developing talents with the whole developing and collaborating skills to suit for the international software outsourcing market. As in 2006, the first 5 enterprises of Shanghai software outsourcing talents training bases have succeeded after investing; the organizer will award 6 enterprises the Bronze medal of "2007 Shanghai Software Outsourcing Talents Training Base".
