Chengdu Digital Week to Accelerate Software Industry

Sponsored by the Chengdu municipal government, the 2nd Chengdu International Digital Entertainment Week is a festival focusing on the discussion about the development trends of China's digital entertainment sector. A series of activities will be held, including exhibition of digital entertainment products, digital games contest, animation design contest, and scientific knowledge popularization exhibition. IT forums on a variety of topics will also be held.

With the prosperity in computers and the Internet, Chengdu government have made the decision to give priority to the development of software outsourcing, embedded software, integrated circuit design, information security, industrial application software, and digital entertainment.

Themed as "Digital world, Entertaining life”, the Digital Week aims at providing a platform for international collaboration in the software and IT service sector between Sichuan and the rest of the world and accelerating the software industry in Chengdu.
